Serengeti National Park "Serengeti" National Park is a wild untouched nature. Classical landscapes, giving the whole world the notion of Africa, are taken from here. 14,763 square kilometers of the steppes beyond the horizon. Its name comes from the word "siringet", which means "stretched valley" in the Masai language. This park is known as the "Boundless Plain of Africa", and it justifies its name. The unique climate determines how the inhabitants of the local fauna live here. The park landscape is gradually replaced by meadows in the southern region, savannas in the central and reaches the northern hills, crowned with forests. Since the climate in the park is humid, a large number of herbaceous plants grow here. In the western part of the park, near Lake Victoria, the height of the grass cover reaches 3-4 meters in some places. Of the 350 species of birds, of which 34 are predators.
