tour program “Climbing Kilimanjaro Machama 8 days (6 days of climbing, 2 days at the hotel) with acclimatization day
Arrival of the group to the airport Kilimanjaro (JRO), a meeting of the tour participants with our company representative and transfer to a hotel in Moshi chosen in advance. The hotel has everything you need for your comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, courteous staff, pool and internet. In the evening our staff will hold a briefing with you and check your readiness for the ascent.

In the morning, a guide with an escort team will come to your hotel, get to know you and hold a briefing, then drive to the entrance to the Kilimanjaro National Park - the Macham Gate (1800 m). After a short procedure for obtaining permission to visit the park and register in the rescue service, the group will begin the ascent to Machame camp (3010 m). The tracking route provides for a passage through the rainforest, where tropical rainfall is very likely, so it is recommended that you have not only a replacement set of clothes, but also raincoats.

• При появлении признаков горной болезни выпить таблетку Диамокса. Большинство восходителей принимают Диамокс ещё с утра, до начала восхождения, что позволяет снизить неприятные ощущения от горной болезни. Рекомендуется проконсультироваться со своим лечащим врачом на наличие аллергенных реакций.
Ночью у вас может появится некомфортное ощущение от акклиматизации: из-за снижения активности дыхания, кислорода поступает ещё меньше чем днём, а с учётом высоты вероятность тошноты и головной боли увеличивается в разы. Поэтому внимательно отнеситесь к своему состоянию и при появлении первых признаков горной болезни обращайтесь к гиду.

After breakfast, you will begin the ascent to the second high-altitude camp Shira (3840 m), on this day you will leave the rainforest and before you for the first time will open panoramas on the plateau Shira. Physically, tracking has no special difficulties, but you can feel a change in height, so pay attention to your condition and remember that choosing the right track rate plays an important role in climbing. Upon arrival in the camp you will be able to rest for you to prepare a hot supper. The night in this camp will be much colder than the previous ones, you can feel the minus temperatures

Surrounding nature: Mountain semi-desert
After breakfast, we leave the Shira camp (3845 m) and begin the ascent to the key point of the route - the Lava Tower (4630 m). You will have many ascents and descents, after which you will first stop in the camp at an altitude of more than 4600 m, it will be difficult and there may be some problems with well-being, but for good acclimatization it is necessary to spend at least 1-2 hours, therefore in this place for you organize a dinner.
Next, you will descend to the Barranco camp (3950 m), where you will see a view of the famous Barranco wall, which impresses with its size and steepness! The next day you will have to conquer it, but do not worry, because it has a very simple hiking trail.
Note: In the event that one or more participants feel unwell, the group may refuse to go through the Lava Tower and shorten the route by taking the road for the porters. In this case, you do not have to go to the mark of 4630 meters, you will only have to pass the maximum height of 4400 meters.

Surrounding nature: Alpine desert
Early rise, breakfast and the beginning of the ascent to the Barranque wall (it is recommended to get out early so as not to be in the bustle of other groups). Climbing the gorge wall is nothing complicated and takes only about 1 hour, after the climb you can rest a bit, take photos on the background of the Kibo volcano. Further, more complex tracking to the Karanga camp (4035 m) begins, as there will be constant descents and ascents on the way, but do not worry, the guide will try to find the optimal pace for you.
In the camp of Karang, you make a break for lunch, then advance to the Barafu assault camp (4640 m), do not hurry too much, save energy, because at night you will climb to Uhuru peak. As soon as you go up to the camp, the cook will cook dinner and you will have an opportunity to relax. Today, you should go to bed at about 19:00 hours.
Travel time: 8 hours - Uhuru Peak, 7-8 hours descent to Mweka camp
Distance: 7 km lift, 23 km descent
The surrounding nature: Stone, ice fields
Night exit from the camp of Barafu (4550 m) and the beginning of the assault of the summit of Kilimanjaro - Uhuru peak (5895 m). Climbing is technically quite simple, a much more serious problem is the height! Throughout the climb, each participant will be assigned a separate guide, which will monitor your physical and moral condition (if desired, after a successful exit to the Uhuru Peak, you can also go down to the nearest glacier). Next, you will return to the camp of Barafa, where a two-hour rest will take place, after which you continue the descent to the camp of Mvek (3100 m).
Note: Do not forget, 90% of the incidents occur on the descent, all the broken legs / hands were damaged exactly on the descent. Also great attention to the legs, you can knock your fingernails off.

The surrounding nature: Forest
The camp is located in the rainforest, waking up in the morning, you will feel relief from the decline in height and satisfaction from conquering the summit. You will be offered a hot breakfast and start descent to the exit from the National Park - the gates of Mvek (1980 m). After descending, the team will gather to congratulate you, after which you can leave your impressions of the ascent in the general magazine. Further, handing of memorable certificates (in our office) and transfer to the hotel of the city of Moshi
Relax in the hotel and transfer to the airport.
Note: On this day, check-out at the hotel starts at 11:00. If late check-out is necessary in case of an evening flight, there is an option to extend the stay at an additional cost.
